Is open to qualifying students from
St. Louis City & St. Louis County
6 - 12 Your Timeline!
- Qualifying Fair Check with your teacher to find out the date of your qualifying Fair (your school, district or other qualifying fair) in which you will participate in order to qualify for The Greater St. Louis Science Fair
- Allow yourself 2 to 3 months before the Fair to begin your research
- Decide on a project (see getting started)
- If an experiment, write your hypothesis
- Start your logbook and write in it every time you work on your project
- Order (from your school) or buy your display board (see your display)
- Complete your project and complete your logbook
- Complete your display board
- Bring your project to your qualifying Fair
- ENJOY THE FAIR
- Greater St. Louis Science Fair - your school will let you know if you qualify to go to the Greater St. Louis Science Fair at Queeny Park
- If you qualify for the Greater St. Louis Science Fair, get your project sequence number
- Your school may obtain your sequence number or
- You may need to go to the Greater St. Louis website to register
- Bring your project to Queeny Park on Thursday, May 5, 2009 7:30 am – 6:00 pm Project drop off (All Projects K-12)

- AWARDS CEREMONY
- If you won a blue ribbon or special award, come with your family and friends to Queeny Park on Saturday, May 9, 2009 between 9:00AM and noon. At this time, you will pick up your special award and have your picture taken for publication!
- Project Pick-up - go to Queeny Park to view the Fair and pick up your project on Saturday, May 9, 2009 between 9:00 am and noon. Since we do not have a storage facility, all projects that are not picked up by noon on May 9, 2009 will be discarded.
