The Academy of Science - St. Louis seeks volunteers with advanced degrees or certification M.D., Ph.D., P.E., D.Sc., et al, to evaluate collegiate-quality student science projects.

ROUND 1

DATE:  February 12 - 16, 2024

TIME:  Anytime between the above dates!

LOCATION: Virtual

DETAILS: Honors Judging Round 1 takes place virtually. Students will have uploaded their projects by February 9 and discipline-specific judges will evaluate projects virtually between February 12 - 16. Judges will take about 2 hours to review 1-3 projects using a detailed rubric.

 

ROUND 2- Finalist Round

DATE:  Saturday, February 24, 2024

TIME:  12:00 PM - 4:30 PM

LOCATION: Webster University

DETAILS: Honors Judging Round 2- Finalist Round is an opportunity for the top 8-10 high school students to present and translate their science to an interdisciplinary audience.

Q. Can I add this to my resume?
A. Yes! Add judging science fair projects to the science education outreach section of your resume and be sure to mention that The Academy of Science - St. Louis Science Fair is one of the largest science fairs in the nation.


Q:  I would like to judge, may I bring my child with me to observe Judging?
A:  No, you will need to make other arrangements for your child on the day of Honors Division judging.
