Honors Division Judging
Competition and Judging
Saturday, February 27, 2010
Schedule:
- 8:00 a.m. Judges viewing of projects
- 9:00 a.m. Student interviews with judges begins
Important Details:
- Eligible students will receive a confirmation e-mail a week before the competition.
- All Honors Division students must arrive by 8:45 a.m. on Saturday, February 27, 2010
- Students should be attired in business casual clothing (no jeans)
- Breakfast and lunch will be provided for students
The Honors Division fair consists of two rounds of competition:
- During the first round, students will be interviewed by judges in a one-to-one format. Click here to view Round I Evaluation Form (Rubric). Students selected as finalists will participate in the second round of competition. Click here to view Final Round Evaluation Form (Rubric).
- In the second round, each finalist student will give a 10 minute presentation about his/her project to the entire group of judges; each presentation will be followed by 5 minutes for questions and answers.
The awards for the finalists will be announced at the end of the competition on Saturday.
The top 2 students will represent St. Louis at ISEF in San Jose, May 9-14, 2010 (all expenses paid!)
Only projects that have sent in all paperwork by registration deadlines
will be eligible to participate.
