General Information for Parents |
The Academy of Science - St. Louis Science Fair is free and open to students in Grades K-12 in the St. Louis Region. Students are recommended by their schools to participate in the Academy of Science - St. Louis Science Fair. In order for your child to participate in The Academy of Science - St. Louis Science Fair, a Regional qualifying fair for the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair, you need to:

Enter Your School Fair Helpful Tips - Tip: Review all sections of the "dropdown menu" under "Students."
Tip: Refer to the Judging Rubric to see how projects will be scored. Encourage your child to include all components for a blue-ribbon project.
Tip: Go to Fair Timeline for planning a project. -
Register Project - Password: If your child's project is selected, your teacher will provide your child with a school password which will be used to register their project.
- Student Project Registration is open August 1, 2020 thru April 10, 2020
- Tip: Students registering projects will need school password, student name (if team project, names of all team members), home contact information, school name, project title, project type, project grade level and project category, and e-mail address)

Awards
Amount: Close to $50,000 in scholarships and awards will be presented to students with top projects.
Ribbons are presented to all.
Grades K-5: Awards Ceremony - for all Blue Ribbon students as well as special award recipients. Ceremony is open to students/parents/siblings/grandparents/teachers/principals and will be held at Queeny Park on Friday, May 1, 2010 at 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm. Photographer will take group photos.
Grades 6-12: students with Blue Ribbons and Special Awards will pick up awards between 9:00 am and BEFORE noon on Saturday, May 2, 2020 at Queeny Park. You do NOT need to be present all morning, just stop by between 9:00 am and BEFORE noon. Photographer will photo winners individually at the photo booth.
