Welcome to the Fair
General Information for Parents |
The Academy of Science - St. Louis Science Fair is free and open to students in Grades K-12 in the St. Louis Region. Students are recommended by their schools to participate in the Academy of Science - St. Louis Science Fair. In order for your child to participate in The Academy of Science - St. Louis Science Fair, you need to:
Ensure your school is registered |
Your child must follow safety procedures while conducting their research, and the project itself must conform with Fair safety standards. SEE SAFETY PAGE FOR COMPLETE LIST OF GUIDELINES.
Work Safely

Your school will hold its school science fair where projects will be selected to compete at Queeny Park. Consult with your student's science teacher on their selection process.

Tip: Review all sections of the "dropdown menu" under "Students."
Tip: Refer to the Judging Rubric to see how projects will be scored. Encourage your child to include all components for a blue-ribbon project .

Projects must be registered before March 18, 2021. Each school that registers for The Academy of Science - St. Louis Science Fair will a school password to be used by their students when they register their projects. The students who are going to compete at the Academy of Science - St. Louis Science Fair need to register their project on-line. Schools have a limited number of projects that they are allowed to forward to the Academy's science fair.
Register Project
- Password: If your child's project is selected, your teacher will provide your child with a school password which will be used to register their project.
- Student Project Registration is open September 1, 2020 thru March 18, 2021
- Tip: Students registering projects will need school password, student name, home contact information, school name, project title, project type, project grade level and project category, and e-mail address)
All projects need to be uploaded by April 21, 2021.

ALL PROJECTS WILL BE UPLOADED. NO PROJECTS AT QUEENY PARK THIS YEAR. SEE HOME PAGE FOR "HOW TO VIDEO"
Awards |

2021 UPDATE Amount:Close to $40,000 in scholarships and awards will be presented to students with top projects - awards will be mailed to the address that the student used when they registered their address
Ribbon placement certificates will be e-mailed to the e-mail address that the students used to register their project
